I Use Content Composer

I use Content Composer, have done since it first came out many months ago. It is a very useful tool for managing the process of content creation. It is hard to see how JetSpinner could suggest that Content Composer is a clone of their product, not least because CC has been around for longer, I think, than JetSpinner and the other basic spinner clones that have recently sprung up like mushrooms on a damp morning.Like all tools this one will do nothing by itself and so you will read no claims of results in terms of money made or rankings achieved from me. Just as I make no claims as to the search engine rankings attributable to my computers - they are just tools!I use Content Composer to manage my work flow. On an individual level I use it to write articles that are targetted to keywords and phrases, where I get feedback as to how the article is shaping up in terms of the content and structure. I use the built in content database to seek research, ideas and beat writers block. The raft of thesauruses (thesaurii ?) help me to find appropriate words.
If I want to generate multiple copies of content then I use CC to insert keywords from my keyword lists, produce variable titles and different versions of the article, this done in various ways according to my needs.
Sometimes I use a more basic tool such as PLR Spinner from Cuztech or Content Spooler for rapid, basic hit ‘n run tasks. These tools certainly have a place.
I am just starting to get to the point of managing other people’s work and here there are more tools to help me. I already use the plagiarism detector and the comparison tools, but soon I will be providing ghostwriters with a copy of Content Composer Lite, a version of the software that is designed to enable users to write content to my specifications and in such a way that the output meshes with my needs. So they will have my keyword lists, be able to see how well they are doing at meeting my goals and I will be happy because I get the content in a form I can use without re-editing to get rid of double line spaces, fixed width formatting, junk top and bottom and horrid smart quotes, no more encoding issues either.Users of Article Announcer, Themezoom, Orwell and PortalFeeder will like the integration with those systems. If you are not likely to be interested in such tools then, well, CC is likely not your bag either.

This is not a tool for all. If you are simply rattling off a few articles and want to get a few easy variations then, yes use JetSpinner et al, the cheaper the better. If you want to use a system that will help you manage and grow your business by providing requisite functionality then Content Composer may well be a smart bet. In terms of the package the price is very viable. Unique product creating a new market niche and saving loads of management and creative time

Just go to Content Composer’s salespage to find out more!
Oh, I just checked, there is a money back guarantee. If you have the money but are not sure then take Content Composer for a test drive. If it is useful, then keep it,  if not well, just take advantage of the refund guarantee.

Spin Ready PLR is Available Now.

A short while ago Spin Ready PLR, from the ContentComposer guy, Jason Potash, opened their doors. I only just now had the chance to look the over over, it looks very good.

I am not going to recover everything in the offer but this is not just about Spin Ready content to plug into Content Composer so that you can avoid duplicate content filters. There is much more. Among the ‘goodies’ are audio books, graphics, free version of Content Composer and a cool extra in the form of advertorials to enhance the clickthrough rate to the researched affiliate programs.

Membership to SpinReady is capped at 350 members to preserve the value and it looks to me that this is well worth a read of the veeeeery long sales page.

Please, take a look while the opportunity is there. (Guess who is now a member ;) )

I’d look at this as an opportunity to outsource your content creation without breaking the bank.

Questions about Article Announcer and Duplicate Content Checking.

From another forum to which I contribute comes the inspiration for this post about Article Announcer and the ContentComposer duplicate content checker.

A poster asked about Article Announcer being featured in one of the ContentComposer demo videos. Confusion had arisen because Article Announcer was featured in submitting content to article directories. So I felt I’d address the issue here. Article Announcer is a premium article submission tool, one of its leading benefits is that one can submit different versions of articles to article directories and thus avoid any possible issues in respect of duplicated content filters.

Article Announcer is one of Jason Potash’s products so it seems to me to be perfectly sensible for him to feature it in his promotional tools. Content Composer does mesh very nicely with Article Announcer and the ‘Auto-rotate’ functionality but there is not any NEED for AA in a ContentComposer environment. In fact, the competing Article Post Robot also enables the use of multiple versions of articles to article directories and it is much cheaper than Article Announcer. Although it is not as complete a system, APR is a very fine piece of software.

So, among the most important benefits that one might look for in an article submssion software to be used with ContentComposer is the ability for the submitter to handle different versions of the article.

At the same time a question was raised about the use of the plagiarism detector in ContentComposer. A suggestion was made that its primary reason for being was to enable Content Composer users to more easily get away with plagiarism. This is not so.

The plagiarism detector is a part of the content management toolbox. As our businesses grow we start to need to source our own content; we outgrow PLR and syndicated sources as sole suppliers and need to employ our own writers, usually as freelancers. Sadly, not all of these writers are entirely honest and they will try to re-use content or fob the buyer off with plagiarised material. Very sensibly ContentComposer incorporates a tool to help manage this real issue. Of course, the owner of CC can also use it to compare his own writing with that of his source materials, a perfectly legitimate use. Of course though, like almost any tool, ContentComposer’s plagiarism detector can be used for bad purposes and also aid the determined copyright infringer.

I suggested to the poster that if the first and lasting impression of the use of the plagiarism detector was to enable ContentComposer users to get away with plagiarism then his business was probably not at the stage of development to warrant buying into this content management tool. ContentComposer is NOT suitable for every business at every stage of its development. Chances are that if there is no content strategy in place then CC will not be fully occupied, although for businesses growing and systematising ContentComposer probably makes a lot of sense as a tool for now and the future.

For readers of these posts, please remember, ContentComposer is not just an article rewriting tool. Whilst content spinning is a part of ContentComposer’s functionality, the reason for the existance of CC is as a tool for managing the content creation process from end to end.

Content Composer Review: ‘Ready to Publish’

Within Content Composer there is a standard file format specifically for CC and Content Composer Lite. But output comes in 3 forms, Content Composer format (CCF) which allows for easy interchange between CC/CC Lite. Plain text, for going anywhere and HTML so you can just insert the content ready formatted into web pages or article submissions sites, or directly into directory submission pages.

It does make submission of articles to any directory or e-zine easier because Content Composer has good control over what printers call the ‘mechanicals’: file format, page width, line breaks, hard returns etc etc. So, for example, dealing with PhantomWriters is easier becasue you don’t need to worry about page width; click a button and it it is done. Same for the ezine publishers. If a site has a choice of HTML and plain text you probably want HTML for the prettiness you can get and control over the eventual appearance. CC gives you that control.

Also, don’t forget that setting up Content Composer to produce its output is not the work of 14 seconds either! But, unlike some competing products there is no pretence about it. However the level of control that you have means that you can get decent results pretty fast, the greater the degree of variation you get, the greater the potential variants, the more you have to put in, but the curve is REALLY in your favour.
Here’s what I mean…

To write an article 500 words on a topic that I know, for me, takes maybe 45 minutes.
To modify it to make a second version, by hand, but without any knowledge of how I have changed, how much I have changed the article, how the keyword density and prominence have changed - perhaps ten more minutes. To make another version maybe another ten minutes.
Another, well, it starts getting hard. I am running out of ways to say the same thing!

Using ContentComposer, to write the article 45 minutes, Prepare it for making multiple versions, perhaps 15 minutes, maybe a little longer. Press the button and zip, 20, 30, 40 versions and, if well prepared, all readable, decent quality content.
The time saving here in preparing different versions comes not from the time saved in preparing for just one extra copy. It comes when you want, for whatever reason, to have many versions. I used to think I’d never want many versions of the same article, now I do! For reasons why look at this search results page. At the time of writing, on that results page of the ten pages shown, five of the pages are mine and all link to the ‘money page’! That would not be possible if all the posts were identical.

BTW, if you get writers block, or just want to know a little more about your theme then you’ll love Content Rover, the article and press release search tool built into Content Composer. This now has around 500,000 pieces of content to search through. Whilst Content Rover has been around for a while, those of you who know Instant Article Wizard will see how this can help you…

Content Composer EarlyBird Offer.

Along with Content Composer Jason has been making several early bird offers. One of them was for a free monthly subscription for 540 articles each month that are specially set up to work within Content Composer. He calls it ‘Spin Ready PLR’ basically this is PLR material that has already been rewritten into several versions ready to just plug and go in ContentComposer. As always of course, a few minutes spent changing the content will give even better results but simply having three versions already is a great step forward. Having the 540 articles every month, at no cost, is even better

Anyway, enough rambling. Jason sent an email announcing that as from Thursday the free PLR subscription was going to be withdrawn. If you were thinking of buying and just biding your time this might be a good a time as any to jump on. This is an offer with genuine value and will be a great help in learning how the system works at its best.

Content Composer From the Forums

I visit a few forums and today I wrote a post that I thought I’d share, in an edited form.

The post was about why people use a tool like Content Composer and placing the program into context, bearing in mind that ContentComposer is much more than an article spinner or article rewriter.

…Somebody asked about videos and how they show what Content Composer can do, here are a few that cover the ground quite well: Content Composer videos

A question arose as to why one might want to have more than one version of an article. A very good question. There are good reasons why one might want multiple versions of an article, here’s a few, without focusing on the techniques to make them:
1) To refocus an article on a new niche or subniche: Dog care to poodle care, alsatian care, pomeranian care, you get the picture.
2) To make different versions of the same article to maintain freshness on a single, but growing site.
3) To provide to article directories, content exchange schemes and other content syndication services. (the need and quality issues are IMHO seperate)
4) To provide content for blog farms whilst still offering reader value.
5) To enable use of the same base content on several static sites in the same niche.
… I am sure there are more, but the utility is clear.

A point was made that one can use a tool such as Dragon Dictate to rewrite a single PLR article, this was my response: I agree that using any decent rewriting tool will take most folks longer than dictating and transcribing a single rewrite for a single use. If that is ALL that you might ever use Content Compser for then you absolutely should not consider using it. If you write to keyword targets, use thesauruses, work with ghostwriters, run out of inspiration for new articles, use content in more than one place, write into silos, find goal attainment indicators useful then you have a useful application in Content Composer. At the moment I know of no other products in this niche, so I can mention only CC…

One guy an existing user gave a really cool commentary about statistical implications of settings within ContentComposer.  I honestly do not see Content Composer as primarily an article spinner/rewriter, this is just a part of its functionality but you have gotten pretty deep in there. If there is functionality that you would like to see then contact Jason, he is interested in what users say.
For me ContentComposer is a management/creation tool, of which article rewriting is just a part. Prospects to the tool have, from what we can see, concentrated upon the rewriting functionality and rather missed the rest! My guess would be that longer term users come to appreciate stuff like the Content Composer Lite application that makes it easier to manage the work of ghostwriters, help them to attain your goals and to integrate their output into your work more easily and cost effectively.

As an addendum to this post, it might be worth pointing out the following ‘case study’. http://ContentComposerReview.com did not exist until 9th March. I used several promotion methods to obtain fast results:
1) The site was built on the WordPress platform, although it is not used as an automated blog, all posting is manual.
2) I used social bookmarking to bookmark all the new posts.
3) I built links from other sites.
4) The content was promoted, to some degree, by posting to a network of blogs that carry content on related themes. These posts were all rewritten versions of content placed upon the site. Several of those posts initially outranked my own posts on my site, a good reason for having rewrites done. The first appearances of my content and thus links was always through this network of blogs. I doubt that had the content of each post, on each blog been the same that I’d have such fast, or successful, results.

Results:
The main site was spidered and indexed rapidly, as is common with LAMMs. After 3 days my site was featured in the first page in Google for the main keywords and at the top of page two for the same keywords as narrow searches. By the time the product launch came around I was on the first page for a whole slew of targeted keywords. Blog network posts surround my results. I have at last look, around 1400 back links listed in Yahoo!
Thus far conversions from site visitors are not bad.

To what degree is this due to having used unique and rewritten content?
I think a significant degree. I am sure the blog network posts would have been discounted had they been all the same, although I did not do complete rewrites, spending only a few minutes on each.
Best result of all, my next holiday is now going to be free, apart from spending money. ;)

The First Content Composer Review?

I have been using Content Composer for some months now but I felt that it would be wrong to tell more about CC than Jason had revealed in public.

But today’s the day so here goes.

What Is Content Composer?

Content composer is an integrated application specialised toward those who create or manage the creation of content (articles) for websites. Actually there are two separate applications, Content Composer and Content Composer Lite which is designed as a sophisticated text editor for use by ghostwriters and freelancers working on projects for those who outsource content creation. We will come to this aspect later.

Content Composer takes an ‘end to end’ view of the process, it is not just a text editor, it is not just an article rewriter, it is not an article database, a management tool, duplicate content checker, keyword checker and measurer. Content Composer is all of these things and more. This is an integrated application, like Microsoft Office is for office work, so Content Composer is for content workers and those who manage them. In many ways this is a unique application.

Content Composer, Blogging and Articles New Approach

Jason Potash, one of the men behind PortalFeeder and Article Announcer has launched Content Composer to the public. I first used this content creation and management system about 10 months ago. Content Composer is not just an article rewriter, it is not a text generator it is a system for people who wish to manage the content creation process in a professional manner and from a single application. For me, Content Composer has pretty much replaced a wordprocessor such as Microsoft Word.

I think CC is a great piece of software but there is a lot to it. Jason has produced a series of Content Composer videos over on his blog.

In the words of Jason Potash: ‘With version 3.0 now here, this software includes everything you’d ever want to produce great content that delivers great results, while saving you a whack of time and money every month. And now, I’d like to show you how…’ Content Composer videos

No Duplicate Content: Rewrite With Phrase Substitution

Phrase substitution is one of my favourite rewriting systems. It is, by its nature, manual in setup but once done can produce great quantities of high quality rewritten articles on tap.

Essentially phrase substitution is a brother to synonym substitution, it comes from the premise that changing words makes content unique. With phrase substitution one changes anything from a single word up to a whole paragraph, one can use one variant, or more, there is no fixed limit on how many variants there should be. Some systems use phrase substitution in conjunction with other forms of rewriting, Content Composer is one of those. These integrated systems can give the most flexibility and degree of change. However, phrase substitution, used on its own can also be a very viable article rewriting strategy. In addition to Content Composer I use a program from Cuztech which is pretty basic but very easy to use. Their PLR Spinner allows the user to very rapidly create even hundreds of unique articles in minutes using very simple techniques. To create versions one simply types {version one of article|second variant} and lets the software spin as many new versions as you wish. The great thing about phrase sustitution is that the process of making the new versions of the article is very natural, no need to think about dictionaries and thesauruses, just write and instead of throwing out changes that you might have previously discarded you keep them! Systems like PLR Spinner even enable users to ‘nest’ changes within the brackets, creating whole new levels of change.

Compared to synonym substitution phrase substitution is favoured because it usually changes the structure of the article as a whole. It works best when the user changes whole phrases with differing numbers of words in them.

Most of the Phrase substitution software does not keep track of how much variety there is between one version and another, this is a failing. Content Composer does enable these comparisons of duplicate content to be made and as a free gift to all readers we have, courtesy of the guys at Content Composer, software that you can use with your favourite rewriter to see just how good a job it is doing! Automatic Text Rewriter: Content Creators Holy Grail

Websites eat content, they devour articles and of course our readers seek good quality content.

As webmasters and site owners we seek to feed the needs of the search engines and our readership because we know that if we have nothing to offer them then they will not even come to our pages. For this reason many of us have been seeking the ‘holy grail’ the automatic text rewriter that can create good quality content in less time than writing the material ourselves and for less money than paying a ghostwriter to write for us. Sadly, as one of those people I have to say that there are plenty of  automatic article rewriters around, but none of them is capbable of creating good quality content.

At the end of the day we still have to do the work. BUT, we can use tools to help us use our time effectively. We can use tools that intelligently help us manage keywords, enable us to check on our ghostwriters - that they are writing genuinely original content and yes, very importantly, to produce multiple versions of articles that are readable and informative, written using natural language and good style
